Steve van Eck is a community development professional with a decade of real estate development experience. In leadership roles at Fox + Moose Developers and Yale Union, he co-developed residential, commercial, and community gathering spaces ranging from small infill to large-scale projects. A former researcher for Meyer Memorial Trust and Oregon Community Foundation, Steve is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum of Oregon and a Member of the Bull Run Center at Northstar Foundation. He holds a Bachelor's in Community Development and a Master's in Urban Economics from Portland State University.
Nicholas Papaefthimiou is a trained engineer, licensed architect, and professional design/build contractor with more than 20 years of experience in architecture and development firms across the United States and in Europe. In his work as principal and founder of infillPDX LLC, Nicholas has developed, designed and constructed a diverse portfolio of single-family homes and multiplexes. A past professor of housing design and development, building science research and construction technology, Nicholas holds Masters Degrees in Architecture and in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and Bachelor of Science degrees in both Architecture and Urban Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
